Specialist Services

In addition to providing general dental services, our Dental Practices offer a full range of excellent orthodontic and other specialist services.

Why would I need orthodontics?

Orthodontic treatment corrects teeth and jaw alignment problems and involves the design and use of appliances such as braces, plates, rubber bands and headgears. If you have crowded or overlapping teeth, it makes them harder to clean which increases your chances of tooth decay, gum disease and eventual tooth loss. With orthodontic treatment, you can improve the health of your teeth and start to smile with confidence!

One location for treatment

Our Dental Practices can cater for most of your orthodontic needs in just one location. This means we can offer you a fast and convenient service:
  • Oral Surgery: Not all patients having orthodontic treatment require extractions, but if you do, most oral surgery procedures can be provided by our in-house specialists.
  • X-rays: Our skilled staff provide radiographic services on site for your diagnostic requirements.
  • Braces and other appliances: All appliances required for orthodontic treatment are made in our on-site laboratories.

Our orthodontists can provide treatment to both children and adults, although intervention and treatment at an early age is recommended for quicker results. Our orthodontic specialists are happy to discuss your treatment needs with you.

Other specialist services

We also provide the following services at our dental practices:
  • Endodontics (Root Canal Therapy) - used to allow teeth with dead or dying nerves to be salvaged rather than having the tooth extracted.
  • Prosthodontics – restorative dentistry such as replacing teeth through use of implants, dentures, crowns and bridgework.
  • Periodontics - treatment and prevention of gum diseases and other disorders of supporting structures in the mouth.

Even if you’re not a member of the fund, you can access these great services at our practices in Haymarket and Parramatta. To find out more information or make an appointment, why not contact us today.

Ongoing dental care

Orthodontic patients require ongoing dental care and this can be provided through regular check-ups with our dentists, oral health educators and hygienists. More about these dental services.

For your convenience, your general dental check-ups can be arranged on the same day as your orthodontic appointment to minimise travelling time.
