Basic Hospital

Basic Hospital is a product designed for young, healthy people who are less likely to need full cover for certain procedures and treatments. It pays a reduced private hospital benefit for obstetrics, assisted reproductive, sterility reversals, some invasive cardiac procedures, hip and knee replacements, psychiatric services, rehabilitation and dialysis.

Plus there's access to several programs to help you achieve and maintain good health, including our unique Hospital Support Programs.

It includes a fixed co-payment that you and each person on your policy pay if admitted to a hospital or day surgery. How the co-payment works.

Family Extras

Family Extras provides you with benefits for extra services not covered by Medicare. These include speech therapy, podiatry, and orthodontics plus health improvement benefits. If you have a family, you’ll like the higher family limits and the wider range of services!
